WASHINGTON, D.C. – The St. Bonaventure men's swimming and diving team was selected as one of the Atlantic 10 favorites entering the new season, slotting second in the preseason poll released Wednesday.Â
While defending champion George Washington was a unanimous favorite with 49 voters' points, the Bonnies were the next up in the polling with 38 points. George Mason (32), Davidson (31), La Salle (22), Fordham (15) and Saint Louis (9) complete the preseason ranks.Â

The Bonnies return A-10 medalist
Ben O'Neill, who collected silver in the 1-meter dive for the second straight season at last year's conference championships with a score of 309.35. He also claimed bronze in the 3-meter.

Returning along with O'Neill is senior
Luigi Termine, who earned bronze in the 100-backstroke at the 2024 A-10 Championships and helped set a program record in the 400-medley relay at last year's conference championships, contributing to a time of 3:11.86.

The team as a whole finished as last year's runner-up with a score of 517.5 points, the best finish for the program since 2016.Â
