The St. Bonaventure University men's soccer team returns to action with a pair of games this week, getting action underway Tuesday, Sept. 30 on the road at Cleveland State. Kickoff is slated for 6:00 p.m.
The Bonnies return home to host Atlantic 10 for Rhode Island Saturday, Oct. 4. That game is slated to begin at 2:00 p.m. at the Marra Athletics Complex. 
LAST TIME OUT
The Bonnies picked up three points in the Atlantic 10 standings in thrilling fashion with a 2-1 comeback win over George Washington Saturday evening on home turf. 
Bona's fell behind in the 51st minute when the Revolutionaries struck for the first goal of the game. 
The Brown and White, however, responded with a pair of goals just three minutes apart to capture the victory. Seth Hammond notched the Bonnies first goal of the game in the 79th minute while Dean Mercer bagged the game-winning goal in the 82nd minute. 
In net, Felix Schöne made three saves for the Bonnies, including a crucial stop in the 76th minute to deny GW of doubling its lead. 
ATOP THE ATLANTIC 10
Graduate student Seth Hammond enters the week leading the Atlantic 10 and ranks 31st in the NCAA with five goals. Hammond also sits second in the A-10 with 11 points. 
Hammond has played full time in five contests this season, including the previous two games against Davidson and George Washington. 
ATLANTIC 10 STANDINGS
The Bonnies enter the week with four points in the Atlantic 10 standings along with George Mason and Saint Joseph's. 
Bona's and George Mason are slated to meet Oct. 11 at the Marra Athletics Complex.
Dayton and Fordham are tied atop the standings early on in conference play with seven points each while Saint Louis is just behind with six points. 
ABOUT CLEVELAND STATE
	- Cleveland State enters Tuesday's contest 1-2-4 overall and are 1-0-2 in Horizon League play. The Vikings are coming off a 1-1 tie with Northern Kentucky Saturday afternoon and defeated Oakland, 1-0, Sept. 20. 
- The Vikings are led by Matteo Correia who has registered five points on two goals and one assist. Peleg Armendariz, Lennart Heck, Tom Mertz and Paolo Roditti have also netted one goal each for CSU. 
- In net, Ryan Poling has started all seven games for the Vikings, making 19 saves. 
RHODE ISLAND NOTES
	- The Rams enter the week 1-6-2 overall and are 0-1-1 in Atlantic 10 play, tying Fordham, 1-1, and falling to Loyola Chicago, 2-1, to begin conference play. Rhode Island's lone victory of the season came on the road at St. John's, 2-1. The Rams were picked to finish ninth in the Atlantic 10 preseason poll. 
- Theo Harris leads the Rams with five points on two goals and an assist. Daniel Goba, Tim Huhmholz and Kyler Vojvodic each have two goals for Rhode Island. 
- In net, Caleb McNeil and Lenno Schmidt have each started for games for the Rams. McNeil has tallied 17 saves while Schmidt has stopped 15 shots. 
UP NEXT
The Bonnies are back in action Tuesday, Oct. 7 when they travel to take on Robert Morris at 3:00 p.m. in Moon Township, Pa.
