ANNAPOLIS, MD – The St. Bonaventure University women's tennis team dropped its spring opener on the road at Navy Saturday morning, 7-0.

Winning for the Bonnies was Sara Montano Parada and Tamara Bachmann at the top doubles spot, taking down Emma Gu and Anna Wiskowski, 6-1.

Navy, however, captured wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to secure the doubles spot.

The hosts carried the momentum into singles, sweeping all six matches.

The Bonnies are back in action Saturday, Jan. 24 when they travel to take on Army.
