A 7-0 spurt from the Rams (9-8, 1-6 A-10) in the first quarter saw the hosts take an early 19-10 lead over the Brown and White.

The Bonnies (12-7, 3-4 A-10) fell behind the Rams, 23-16, before the Bonnies used a 7-0 run from Parker and Elyse MacDonough to tie the game with 4:38 remaining in the first half.

Drake and Barr-Buday combined to score the final nine points of the half for the Bonnies, taking a 34-27 lead at the break.

The Bonnies came out firing out of the halftime locker room, pushing the lead to double digits, 43-31, following a Mackenzie Pettinelli jump shot with the shot clock winding down with 5:12 remaining in the third.

The Rams, however, closed the third on a 12-2 run to pull within two, 45-43, heading into the final frame.

Four unanswered points from Fordham to start the fourth gave the hosts its first lead since the second quarter, 47-45.

Fordham pushed the lead to 53-49 midway through the fourth with 3-pointers from Lakresha Edwards and Carryn Easley.

The Rams would not trail again as they pushed the lead to nine, 58-49, with under two minutes to play.

The Bonnies looked to rally as Parker converted from the baseline with under a minute to play, but it was not enough as Bona's was forced to foul, sending the Rams to the line to ice the game.

QUOTES FROM HEAD COACH JIM CROWLEY
"Disappointed in our aggressiveness offensively. In both the first quarter and the last five of the third into the entire fourth quarter. We just didn't play with the kind of aggressiveness we needed to. We were tentative and just made some bad decisions."

UP NEXT
The Bonnies return home to host George Mason Wednesday, Jan. 21. Tipoff is slated for 6:00 p.m. at the Reilly Center.
