10:00 a.m.
Reilly Center Pool

The St. Bonaventure men's and women's swimming and diving teams will return to action on Saturday morning as they are set to host Colgate at 10 a.m. at the Reilly Center Pool. Prior to the beginning of the meet, the Bonnies will honor their 15 graduating student-athletes in the Class of 2026 with a Senior Day ceremony.

LAST TIME OUT
Both the Bonnies men's and women's teams enjoyed impressive individual performances to kick off the 2026 portion of the schedule despite losses to Cornell.

On the men's side, senior diver Ben O'Neill paced the group with a win from the 1-meter board (320.85) and a runner-up finish from the 3-meter board (319.28). Sophomore Mark Mizsei took first place in the 200-fly (1:46.80), finishing with a sizable gap between him and the rest of the field. Junior Johnny Edwards and freshman Emanuele Zingaro also posted victories in the 500-free (4:34.67) and the 100-free (45.25), respectively.

On the women's side, sophomore Phoebe McClaren led the charge by setting new season bests with first place in the 1000-free (10:22.20) and third place in the 500-free (5:05.99). Freshman Sophie Baker continued her rookie success with a season-best time in the 50-free (23.69), which was good for second place. Other Bonnies turning in solid outings were junior Anna Bojana Forjan and freshman Kate Hill, who each set season bests and earned victories in the 200-back (2:02.01) and the 100-free (51.78), respectively.

WEEKLY AWARD WINNERS
Six individual Bonaventure student-athletes have earned Atlantic 10 weekly conference awards so far this season.

Hill is the only member of either team to earn multiple weekly awards, which she did with two Rookie of the Week selections in October after a hot stretch in sprints. Baker gave the SBU women's team its third win in the category in early November after winning the 100-free and 100-fly against Canisius.

Most recently, Zingaro and O'Neill were named Rookie of the Week and Performer of the Week, respectively, for their efforts against Cornell. O'Neill's 3-meter board score slotted in as the third-best in the A-10.

The remaining two Bonaventure award winners were Mizsei and freshman Matheus Rinaldi. Mizsei earned his distinction after setting a new pool record at Niagara, clocking in at 1:47.31 for a win in the 200-fly. He also found second place in both the 100-fly and 200-medley relay at that meet. Rinaldi collected two individual wins in the prior dual meet at Cleveland State and his mark of 15:56.52 in the 1650-free ranked fastest in the conference at the time.

NCAA DIVING ZONES
St. Bonaventure has been no stranger to diving success this year as O'Neill and sophomore Dhav Mendoza have each qualified for NCAA Diving Zones. O'Neill met the standard with a score of 315.10 on the 1-meter board against Fordham early on. Mendoza scored a 286.10 on the 3-meter board against Rutgers and Fordham to qualify, later posting a mark of 268.73 on the 1-meter board against Canisius to round things out.
