The St. Bonaventure men's lacrosse team continues its season-opening road stretch this Saturday with a noon matchup against Binghamton.

PACING IN POINTS
Junior Jaxon Dillon led the Bonnies attack in their season-opening loss to Bucknell, posting two assists. With that, he has already matched his assist total from last season. Sophomore John Boomer and junior Cole Tucker were on the receiving end of his assists, tallying their first goals of the year.

SUCCESS AT THE X
Sophomore Lad Harper was strong at the faceoff X against Bucknell, going 9-for-15 in his attempts and continuing his personal success from last season. As a freshman, he won 118 faceoffs, good for a 52.4 percent win rate and a earned a spot on the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team.

CONTROLLING THE TURF
The Bonnies edged Bucknell in ground balls in the season opener, securing 32 to the opponent's 29. Redshirt junior Owen Tasse notched a single-game career high after collecting eight ground balls on the day, also causing three turnovers to lead the team.

BETWEEN THE POSTS
Sophomore goalie Isaac Farmer, also a member of the 2025 A-10 All-Rookie Team, made nine saves in a full 60 minutes of action against Bucknell.

SERIES HISTORY
The short series between the Bonnies and Bearcats has been dramatic – and heartbreaking for the Bona's side of things. All three previous meetings have gone to overtime with the Bearcats prevailing in each of the past three years. Last season, Isaac Farmer made 20 saves in a 6-5 Bearcats win. Binghamton took a 3-0 lead at half before Patrick Shanahan and Jaxon Dillon tallied Bonnies goals. Cole Tucker also scored for Bona's and Lad Harper won 10 faceoffs with eight groundballs. In 2024 when the teams last met in Binghamton, the Bonnies led for most of the day before falling 13-12 in extra time. The teams squared off for the first time at SBU in 2023 when the Bearcats won in OT, 12-11.

In two career games vs. BU, Shanahan has posted two goals, four assists and six ground balls.

NEW FACES
The Brown and White opened this 2026 season with a brand-new coaching staff headlined by head coach Brendan Storrier. Announced as the program's new leader in June of 2025, Storrier arrived in Western New York after building a Division II powerhouse at Limestone University in South Carolina. He led the Saints to four straight D-II NCAA Tournament appearances while building up an impressive 66-13 overall record.

Working with Storrier as assistant coaches are Peter Collins and Lance Olson, whose additions were announced last July. Both coaches played under Storrier as student-athletes at Limestone.

Collins was also a part of Storrier's staff at Limestone where he worked as an offensive assistant and helped the team to a 2023 South Atlantic Conference title. More recently, he served as associate head coach and offensive coordinator for D-II Montevallo where he helped lead the program to a 2024 Peach Belt Conference regular season title with the eighth-ranked scoring offense in D-II.

Olson most recently served as the head coach at Emmanuel University in Georgia, where he immediately improved the team's record from 1-15 to 8-6 to earn 2025 Conference Carolinas Coach of the Year honors. He was also a defensive coordinator, goalies coach and faceoff specialist coach at Montevallo from 2022-2023 where he helped earn 22 wins in those two seasons.

Alongside the first-year coaching staff are 17 student-athlete newcomers to the 2026 roster.
