OPENING FACEOFF
The St. Bonaventure men's lacrosse team will host the season finale Friday night vs. Hobart, celebrating the graduating Class of 2026 with a special pre-game ceremony. Senior ceremonies are set to begin at approximately 6:15 p.m., so fans are encouraged to arrive early.

LAST TIME OUT
St. Bonaventure battled Delaware on the road last week in a game filled with offensive fireworks as the Blue Hens outlasted the Bonnies for a 19-16 decision. Bona achieved multiple statistical milestones in the game:

  • Junior Jaxon Dillon tied the program record for single-game goals with six.
  •  Bona's 16 team goals are the most for the program in an Atlantic 10 game and second-most in the Bonnies' Division I history. SBU's all-time record is 21 goals in a 2022 home win vs. Hampton.
  • SBU tallied 26 points on the stat sheet, second in program single-game history.
  • Senior Owen Tasse picked up 11 groundballs, most by any non-faceoff specialist in Bonnies single-game history.

RACKING UP AWARDS
Jaxon Dillon has earned recognition for his outstanding offensive performance last weekend. This week, he was honored as the Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week and also was picked to the USILA National Team of the Week as one of the top-10 Division I efforts of the week.

Dillon became the fourth Bonnies player to score six goals in a game, joining Jake Kucinski (2024 at Binghamton), Sean Westley (2023 vs. VMI and 2021 vs. Siena) and Jackson Rose (2022 vs. Siena).

He is the second Bonnies player to be named to a USILA National Team of the Week this season: Cole Kucinski received the honor after having five goals in a February contest at Binghamton.

Prior to this season, the last Bonnies player to be picked to a USILA National Team of the Week was goalie Brett Dobson in 2021.

HOBART NOTES
  • Hobart scored a win in its opener, 13-8, vs. Canisius and also defeated Le Moyne, 12-7, on March 10 but is looking to snap a five-game losing skid since Atlantic 10 play began.
  • Hobart ranks 67th nationally in scoring offense at 8.9 goals per game and 65th in scoring defense while allowing 13 goals per contest. Struggle points have been in the clear (ranking 69th at just over 80 percent) and at the faceoff dot (ranking 70th in win percentage at 39 percent).
  • David Peterkin leads Hobart with 35 points on the year (16G-19A) while Michael Johnson has been the team's primary goalie, registering a .513 save percentage.
  • The Bonnies are seeking their first-ever win vs. Hobart (0-4). The Statesmen scored a non-conference win on home turf in 2019 and has since taken all three meetings as A-10 rivals since 2023.
SEASON STAT LEADERS
Entering into the final night of the season, Cole Kucinski ranks third in school history for season goals with 27, behind only Jackson Rose who had 40 in 2022 and Sean Westley who netted 30 that same year. Kucinski's 34 points stand sixth in Bonnies history. Next up: Westley's 37 in 2023.

Patrick Shanahan has 30 points on the season, good for ninth in Bonnies Division I history while Jaxon Dillon is in a tie for 11th with 26 points. Shanahan's 24 goals currently stand tied for fifth in Bona season ranks.

Isaac Farmer has 146 season saves, four back of Cristofero Cucciuffo's 150 back in 2023. Farmer recorded 173 stops a year ago.

Freshman Jonas Johnson enters this week with 16 points on the year which currently stands seventh in Bonnies D-I history for points by a freshman and most since 2024. His 11 assists are third-most ever by a Bonnies freshman.
