OPENING FACEOFF
The St. Bonaventure men's lacrosse team is set to face off against No. 4 Richmond at the Marra Athletics Complex this Saturday at noon. The Spiders will be the second nationally ranked team the Bonnies face this season as SBU hosted No. 18 Saint Joseph's on March 14.

LAST TIME OUT
The Bonnies trailed wire-to-wire last Saturday on the road at High Point, eventually falling 19-8. Cole Kucinski and Patrick Shanahan each scored twice to lead the visiting attack. Freshman Jonas Johnson also posted a career-best three points (1G-2A).

TOUGH IN TRANSITION
The Bonnies boast an effective ride, holding opponents to a success rate of just 81.8 percent on clears. That figure ranks third in the A-10 and 14th nationally.

TURNOVER MACHINE
Defender Owen Tasse, a redshirt junior, leads the A-10 with 2.45 caused turnovers per game so far this season, also good for a top-three mark in the nation. His 27 total caused turnovers this year are a single-season program record.

BETWEEN THE POSTS
Sophomore goalie Isaac Farmer has made quite an impact on defense, saving an average of 11.09 shots per game, the second most in the A-10.

IN THE RANKINGS
Cole Kucinski has netted 24 goals on the season, good for fourth in the Division I era of the Bonnies dating back to 2019. Ahead of him are the 25 goals posted by Sean Westley in 2023 and also Westley's 30 goals in 2022. Jackson Rose set the record of 40 goals in 2022.

Tasse's 27 caused turnovers not only rank as the most in Bona single-season history, but his 43 groundballs rank third by any non-faceoff specialist behind only Brady Wijbrandts who had 58 in 2022 and Nick Conklin's 44 in 2019.

In the faceoff circle, Lad Harper owns a .542 winning percentage this year which would be the best in program history.

On the career side of things, Patrick Shanahan now has 68 career points as he moved past Conor Murphy '25 for third in Bona history last weekend. Only Sean Westley '22, '23 (156) and Jake Rosa '24 (122) have more points in a Bonnies uniform.
