GREENWOOD, Ind. – Five St. Bonaventure University tennis student-athletes have earned a spot on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, officials announced Tuesday.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. They are nominated by the nation's sports information directors.
Women's tennis seniors Tamara Bachmann, Kelly Barnes, Kashish Bote and Sienna Smith all earned honors while sophomore Luke Ollivierre garnered honors on the men's side.
Tamara Bachmann carries a 3.9 GPA in the classroom as a psychology major. She paced the Bonnies this season with 10 wins in singles and was second on the team with eight doubles victories, earning Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team honors following the season.
Kelly Barnes has a 3.95 GPA, working toward her MBA in professional accountancy. Barnes picked up three wins in singles for the Brown and White during the spring season to go along with four doubles wins.
Kashish Bote is an accounting major with a 4.0 GPA in the classroom. On the court, Bote scored five wins at No. 4 singles and four wins in doubles action.
Sienna Smith carries a 3.79 GPA as an environmental studies major. Smith captured six singles wins on the year to go along with three doubles wins.
Luke Ollivierre is working toward his degree in computer science and carries a 3.68 GPA.
