PHILADELPHIA – The St. Bonaventure baseball team couldn't get much going on offense, leading to a 3-0 loss to Saint Joseph's on Saturday afternoon.
Hawks' starting pitcher Cole Fehrman had an outstanding day, throwing eight innings with 13 strikeouts while allowing only two hits. Sam Greer came in to throw ninth for Saint Joseph's, working a 1-2-3 inning to end the game and record the save.
On the mound for the Bonnies, Tristan Ciampa had one of his best outings of the year.
The redshirt senior threw a season-high 7.0 innings, allowing three earned runs on five hits while picking up five strikeouts. Joey Calabretti came in for the eighth, working around one walk for a scoreless outing.
