ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – St. Bonaventure Women's Basketball head coach Jim Crowley has announced the addition of Marion Dietz and Aaliyah Parker to the coaching staff for the 2026-27 season.

"We're thrilled to have them with us. We know they not only have great basketball knowledge and are excellent teachers, but that they understand and will thrive in the Bonaventure culture," Crowley said. "Marion is someone I've known for a long time and watched her career blossom. She is an outstanding coach and will be a tremendous part of our staff. Aaliyah is someone we got to work with firsthand last year. Her impact on our program was special, and we could see a coach on the floor in her. We're excited to bring them both on board and look forward to how they will help keep our momentum going as a program."

A rising star in the coaching ranks, Dietz most recently served as head coach/assistant athletic director/senior women's administrator at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, N.Y.

In three seasons as head coach for the Mount Saint Mary program, she guided the Knights to a 52-30 overall record along with a sparkling 47-13 mark in conference play. In 2025, her team captured the Skyline Conference Championship and advanced to the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Before arriving at Mount Saint Mary, Dietz served as an assistant coach at William Smith College, where she contributed to all aspects of the program with an emphasis on recruiting, opponent scouting, and practice planning.

She also spent time on staff at Catholic University where she helped that squad to a 27-9 record across two seasons including a 20-win campaign in 2021-22 and a spot in the NCAA Tournament.

Dietz played collegiately at SUNY New Paltz where she was a four-year starter, recording 1,253 career points to stand second on the program's all-time scoring list at the time of her graduation. Her Hawks teams captured three SUNYAC Championships with a trio of NCAA Tournament bids, including two runs to the national Sweet 16. She earned SUNYAC Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2019 and 2020 and was named SUNYAC Women's Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year as a senior in 2020.

Parker joins the coaching ranks following a stellar playing career that saw her excel on and off the court.

She spent her graduate season at St. Bonaventure this past year, helping the Bonnies return to the national postseason by reaching the second round of the WNIT. The Cheektowaga native started all 32 games played and recorded a team-high 69 steals to rank seventh in single-season program history. Parker recorded 12.6 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest, reaching double-figure scoring in 23 contests.

She graduated with 1,604 career points and 753 rebounds and ranked sixth nationally among all active Division I players with 337 total steals. Parker finished her career as one of just 37 players active in the country with over 1,000 career points and 600 total rebounds.

Academically, she earned her Masters in Sport Administration and achieved Academic All-District honors for her work on the court and in the classroom.
