ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – A record number of St. Bonaventure student-athletes captured honors for their work in the classroom and fields of competition during the 2025-26 academic year as a total of 40 Bonnies received College Sports Communicators Academic All-District accolades.

The Bonnies were led by six honorees each in both women's lacrosse and women's soccer, the maximum number possible in each sport and a program record for Bona's lacrosse. Those programs were closely followed by baseball and men's soccer with five each while women's basketball (4), women's tennis (4), men's lacrosse (3), softball (3), and golf (2) all had multiple honorees and men's basketball and men's tennis recorded one apiece.

It was a banner year across the board for Bonnies in the classroom.

As a department, St. Bonaventure student-athletes recorded a 3.447 Spring Semester GPA. Out of 385 active Bonnies student-athletes, a total of 310 recorded a semester GPA of 3.0 or better as 81 percent of the department achieved that milestone. A total of 82 percent of current Bonnies student-athletes (316) own a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
