The St. Bonaventure University men's soccer team returns to Atlantic 10 play Saturday, Sept. 26 when it travels to take on Davidson. Kickoff is slated for 7:00 p.m. at Alumni Soccer Stadium in North Carolina.

LAST TIME OUT
The Bonnies dropped a non-conference contest to Cleveland State, 2-1, Tuesday evening at the Marra Athletics Complex.

The Vikings found goals in the 20^th and 23^rd minutes to take a commanding first half lead.

The Bonnies cut the deficit in half in the 66^th minute when Kyle Macfarlane buried a penalty kick after Daniel Helle was pulled down in the box.

ATLANTIC 10 PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Sophomore forward Ryan Holt was tabbed as the Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week Monday afternoon.

Holt recorded the game-tying and game-winning goals in the Bonnies 2-1 victory over VCU last Saturday on home turf, helping the team to their first win over the Rams since 2017.

SHEEHAN SHINING
Sophomore Brendan Sheehan went the first 16 games of his St. Bonaventure career without logging a point. Over the span of the last four games, Sheehan has registered eight points on three goals and two assists, helping the Bonnies to a 2-1-1 record during that span.

Sheehan currently ranks fifth in the Atlantic 10 in goals and is sixth in points.

DAVIDSON NOTES

• Davidson enters the weekend 1-2-4 overall and are 1-0-0 in Atlantic 10 play after a 3-2 win over George Mason to kick off conference play last weekend. The Wildcats have also secured draws against Charleston, Gardner-Webb, UNC Greensboro and Furman. Davidson was picked to finish sixth in the Atlantic 10 preseason poll.
• Nico Zeballos and Ayman Maadir have each scored two goals each to lead the Wildcats offensively. In net, Lucas Beltran has started six out of the seven games for Davidson, making 20 saves while allowing eight goals.

SERIES HISTORY
The Bonnies and Wildcats are set to meet for the ninth time Saturday evening. Davidson leads the all-time series 4-3-1 over the Bonnies.

Bona's is 2-0-1 against Davidson in the last three meetings with the most recent matchup ending in a 0-0 draw last season in North Carolina.

UP NEXT
The Bonnies are off until Saturday, Oct. 3 when they return home to host Fordham. Kickoff is set for 4:00 p.m. at the Marra Athletics Complex.
