The St. Bonaventure University men's soccer team heads back out on the road Tuesday, Sept. 8 to take on Boston College. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. in Newton, Mass.
LAST TIME OUT
The Bonnies fell to Robert Morris, 2-0, last Friday at the Marra Athletics Complex.
Robert Morris scored the game's first goal in the 19th minute and added a second in the 38th to secure the victory.
Kyle Macfarlane and Alistair McFall paced the Bonnies with two shots each.
MILESTONE WATCH
Bonnies seniors Daniel Helle and Callum Shillington are approaching 50 appearances in the Brown and White. Helle has appeared in 46 games for the Bonnies while Shillington has seen action in 44 contests.
IN THE RANKS
Entering the week, Bonnies goalkeeper Winston Jory ranks fourth in the Atlantic 10 with a .813 save percentage and also sits fifth in goals against average, allowing .750 goals per game.
BOSTON COLLEGE NOTES
· Boston College enters the week with a record of 3-1-0. The Eagles started the year with three straight wins over Merrimack, Siena and Dartmouth, but most recently fell on the road at Virginia, 2-0, last Friday.
· Dylan Mafong (two goals, one assist) and Bryan Toro (one goal, three assists) lead the way for Boston College with five points each. Russell Brown has also registered multiple goals for BC for four points.
UP NEXT
The Bonnies remain on the road to take on Little Three rival Canisius Tuesday, Sept. 15. Kickoff is slated for 6:00 p.m. in Buffalo.
