Played in one game … went 0-1 in his first collegiate appearance at the plate against VCU (May 16).

As a Junior (2014)
Played in three games … struck out a batter against Binghamton (April 23) … allowed two walks, three hits and six earned runs in an inning.

As a Sophomore (2013) | Game-By-Game Stats
Made three relief appearances  … threw just four and one-third innings, but did not allow an earned run and surrendered just one hit over those outings … struck out two batters and allowed opponents to hit only .071 … made his collegiate debut versus Mount St. Mary’s (Feb. 26), where he threw one and one-third innings and walked two batters … returned to the mound for an inning of work (April 23) in the first game of a doubleheader with Bucknell, allowing a hit and a walk … made his final showing May 14 at Buffalo, which was his longest outing of the season with 2 innings of work, including a walk and both of his season strike outs.

As a Freshman (2012)
Used a redshirt season.

High School
Played baseball throughout his high school career … played for Average Joe’s out of Play Ball Academy under Del Mintz with 32 innings pitched, 52 strikeouts, 0.46 ERA and two earned runs for the fall season of 2010 … as a senior, he was the captain of his high school baseball team and an All-Division pitcher and outfielder … member of the Berks Voices All Star team … as a junior, he was a member of the Philadelphia Phillies Carpenter Cup team … got the save in the district playoffs against Waynesboro … during his sophomore year, he received a varsity letter.

Son of Pam and Randy Ballmer … has one younger sister, Mikaela … his cousin, Brittany, plays softball at Albany … a sports studies major.
