Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll honoree ... led the team in most offensive categories as part of an outstanding junior season that earned him First Team All-Atlantic 10 honors ... hit .335 with 21 extra-base hits and 17 RBIs and led the Atlantic 10 with 24 stolen bases ... also led the team in on-base percentage (.409) ... hit .376 in Atlantic 10 play and totaled 19 multi-hit games including nine three-hit contests ... was again one of the region's top shortstops, driving his consecutive start streak to 144 games while turning 21 double plays and posting a .965 fielding percentage ... had three hits in a victory over Rhode Island (4/8) ... doubled and scored a run against Niagara (4/5) … scored three runs and had three hits in five at-bats and drove in two runs in the second game of a doubleheader against Dayton (4/1)... scored three times and went 2-for-3 with a double in a victory over Dayton (4/1) ... finished season-opening Atlantic 10 series at Davidson by going 8-for-12 over the weekend (3/19) ... went 2-for-3, punching in two runs and scored two runs in a win over North Dakota State (3/11) … delivered two hits and scored a run in a victory against Penn (3/9) … doubled and tripled while also scoring two runs in a winning effort against Dartmouth (2/25) … registered three hits vs. Eastern Michigan.

Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll honoree ... earned Atlantic 10 Second Team honors after again performing as one of the top shortstops in the region ... started all 49 games at short, hitting .289 with a team-high 11 doubles, three triples and 26 RBIs ... paced the team with 19 stolen bases to rank among the A-10's top 10 in base stealing ... was at his best in conference play, leading the team by hitting .324 against A-10 foes while making just three errors in 137 chances for a .978 fielding percentage ... helped turn 33 double plays ... finished the season by going 8-for-9 at the plate in a doubleheader sweep at Saint Joseph's (5/20) ... collected three hits and an RBI in a win over Saint Louis (5/12) ... lined three hits in a victory vs. Canisius (5/4) ... went 3-for-3 with three RBIs in a game two victory at Niagara (4/19) ... had multi-hit games twice during the series vs. Dayton, including a two-RBI game in the opener (4/15)... singled and doubled, scoring twice in game two win vs. Buffalo (3/30) ... tallied two hits and drove in two runs in game two at VCU (3/26) ... went 3-for-5 with a double in opening game of series at VCU (3/25) ... drove in a run with a double and scored twice vs. Niagara (3/22) ... doubled twice and drove home three runs in a win over Maine (3/7) ... singled, walked, scored a run and stole two bases in season-opening win at Savannah State (2/19).

As A Freshman (2015)
One of three players to start all 47 games … posted a .277 batting average with 49 hits and 14 RBIs in 177 at-bats … scored a team-high 34 runs … notched six doubles and two triples … led the team in walks with 28 … accumulated 59 total bases … had 13 multi-hit games, including five games of three hits … registered 19 stolen bases on 25 attempts … recorded a .333 slugging percentage and a .384 on-base percentage … made 90 putouts with 158 assists and seven errors for a .973 fielding percentage. 

High School
Named Small School South Player of the Year following sophomore, junior and senior seasons ... became sixth pitcher in PIAA history to throw a shutout in the state finals ... batted .473 at the plate and was a perfect 10-0 on the mound with a 0.90 ERA during senior year ... earned First Team All-State honors following junior year ... also was an All-State basketball player, ranking second in Johnsonburg High history with 1,598 career points.

Personal
Son of Terry and Jeff Peterson ... Sports Studies major ... brother, Seth, played baseball at Clarion ... was part of 2015 Olean Oilers New York Collegiate Baseball League (NYCBL) championship team ... helped the Oilers to the 2016 NYCBL championship as well and was named NYCBL Championship Series Overall MVP.
