Played two seasons at Northeast Community College in Norfolk, Neb., for head coach Dan Anderson ... as a sophomore in 2017-18, Moreaux averaged 14.2 points and 10.3 rebounds over 29 games ... made 48 percent of his shots from the field and 67 percent at the free throw line ... finished 16th among all NJCAA Division I players in rebounding at 10.3 per game ... grabbed double-figure rebounds in 14 of his 29 games ... earned honorable mention All-Conference honors from the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference .... as a freshman, averaged 9.3 points and 7.3 rebounds over 24 games.

Attended Preston Academy in England, where he lived about a six-hour drive away from his parents … played three seasons of basketball there.

Noteworthy: Was given the name Melkisedek after the biblical high priest Melchizedek … native of Hamburg, Germany, Moreaux’s family now lives in Farnborough, England … the family moved from Germany to England when Melkisedek was 13 years old … he began playing basketball at 15 years old as a way to meet friends and learn English … Melkisedek speaks three languages fluently – German and Twi (Ghana’s national language) in addition to English … his first sports love was soccer and he still enjoys playing the game as a way of developing his footwork … his father Edmund was a professional soccer player in Germany who later coached professionally as well … looks at Kawhi Leonard as his basketball role model … would like to coach basketball after he is finished playing.
