St. Bonaventure

Nik Clinton is entering his third year on the St. Bonaventure coaching staff in 2022-23.

Clinton has been instrumental in developing an efficient faceoff and wing play unit, helping to lift the Bonnies from a 21 percent faceoff win percentage in 2020 to 37 percent in 2021 and 50 percent in 2022, rising to a top-30 ranking nationally. He also worked with MAAC All-Rookie Team selection Trent Grainger who scored a 53 percent winning percentage at the faceoff dot while winning MAAC Faceoff Specialist of the Week three times during his rookie season.

Clinton also works with the Bonnies offense that was ranked atop the MAAC in 2022, scoring nearly 11 goals per game while posting an 11-4 record en route to a conference regular season crown. 

Prior to his work on the coaching staff, Clinton was a student-athlete for the Bonnies, playing two seasons for the program and was a member of St. Bonaventure's first Division I squad in 2019. He graduated from St. Bonaventure in 2020 after playing his first two collegiate seasons at Adams State.
