Erica Morrow joined the Bonnies coaching staff in June 2022 and was elevated to interim head coach Jan. 15, 2023.
She joins the Bonnies coaching staff following a two-year stint as an assistant coach at Syracuse. In her first season back on the sidelines, Morrow helped guide the Orange to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Her primary focus was working with the guards including WBCA All-America Honorable Mention selection Tiana Mangakahia and All-ACC Honorable Mention selection Kiara Lewis.Â
From January to May 2013, Morrow served as Syracuse’s Director of Basketball Operations after spending the two prior years as a graduate assistant manager.
Morrow played for Syracuse from 2007-11 and was the Orange's second all-time leading scorer when she graduated in 2011. Her 1,650 career points in 130 career games is currently fifth in program history. Morrow helped guide the Orange to the 2008 NCAA Tournament and was a part of 89 Syracuse wins and four postseasons. Morrow was one of the first top recruits during Quentin Hillsman's early years on The Hill and was a McDonald's, WBCA and Parade High School All-American.Â
From 2013-15 she played for Elfic Fribourg Basketball in Fribourg, Switzerland. In 2015, Morrow signed with Amicale Steesel Basketball Club in and helped her team to six titles, 2,938 points, 995 assists, 878 rebounds and 541 steals in 137 games. She was part of 116 wins with Amicale Steesel and earned honors such as Season MVP, Import Player of the Year and Guard of the Year. From 2018-20, Morrow served as a player-coach for Amicale Steesel where she organized and ran practice, completed film breakdown and scouting while simultaneously playing.Â
Morrow graduated from Syracuse in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in information systems and technology. She went on to graduate with a master's degree in broadcast and digital journalism from Syracuse in 2013.
