Appeared in 13 games, started in six...scored five goals with 2 assists...scored her first collegiate career goal against opponent Bucknell (April 10)...tossed in another goal with an assist at SJU (April 13)..scored one assist at Colgate (April 18)... and scored her own career high of thre goals against GW (April 22)

High School
Missed entire junior year at C.W. Baker High School with an injury ... moved up from the junior varsity to the varsity team in her sophomore year ... won New York State Scholar Athlete and All-CNYCL honors during sophomore season ... played basketball her freshman year ... in addition to lacrosse, Ventre rode equestrian for all four years ... academically, named to the National Honor Society.

Syracuse, N.Y. native ... daughter of Shawn and Dan Ventre ... undecided major ... one brother, Dan (21) ... chose St. Bonaventure for the lacrosse program and the "great education (she) will receive here" ... relative John Howell played for Syracuse's football program, part of the 1959 national championship team ... another relative, Johnny Howell, currently plays for Binghamton's baseball program ... coachs youth lacrosse and works at an equestrian camp over the summer months.
