Zach Serovy wrapped up his first season as an assistant coach with the St. Bonaventure women's soccer program after joining the University in August 2022.
Serovy joins the Bonnies coaching staff after spending the last two seasons as the men's soccer graduate assistant coach and goalkeeper coach at North Central (Ill.) College. While with the Cardinals, Serovy helped guide the development of an All-American goalkeeper and an All-American defender. He also served as the goalkeeping director at the Campton United Soccer Club.
Prior to his time in Illinois, Serovy spent four seasons at Coe College in Iowa, serving as the men's soccer recruiting coach from 2016-18 and as an assistant coach from 2018-2020. During his time in Iowa, he also worked as a boys' varsity assistant coach at Iowa City West High School.
Serovy was a goalkeeper for North Central College for two seasons from 2014-15. He transferred to Coe College to finish his collegiate playing career.
Following college, Serovy played for a handful of semi-professional teams, including the Cedar Rapids Rampage, Cedar Rapids Inferno, Iowa Raptors Futbol Club, Chicago Mustangs and Chicago Nation.
Serovy earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Coe College in May 2018. He went on to earn his master's degree in sports leadership from North Central College in May 2022. Serovy also has his National "F" License from the United States Soccer Federation.
