- Became the first player in Bonnies history to register 60 blocks and hand out 50 assists in the same season

- Ranked 21st nationally in blocks per game and 40th in total blocks (59) despite missing seven games due to injury

Helped Putnam Science Academy win the school's first national prep championship ... led by Osunniyi’s 27 points and 12 rebounds, Putnam earned the title with a 74-66 overtime win over Northfield Mount Hermon ... he was named the game’s Most Valuable Player ... the Mustangs finished the 2017-18 season with a record of 38-4, including a school record 24-game win streak ... for the year, Osunniyi averaged 10 points, six rebounds and three blocked shots per game ... made 57 percent of his shots overall ... was named to the first team All-Great Atlantic Conference and the All-New England second team ... was ranked third in the state of Connecticut prep school rankings released by New England Recruiting Report in the spring of 2018 and 18th overall in the New England Class of 2018 ... was coached by Tom Espinosa.

Graduated from Mainland High School in Linwood, N.J., in 2017 ... as a senior, he averaged 14.4 points and 11.4 rebounds per game … he led Mainland to a 22-6 mark and the regional semifinals … was injured for most of his junior season … played two seasons on the varsity team … was coached by Dan Williams.
