Career Stats

As a Redshirt Senior (2012) | Game-By-Game Stats
Van Riper appeared in all 20 games this season and started 19 … she still logged 103 total minutes in the lone game in which she didn’t start (at Xavier, Oct. 21, 2-1 double overtime win) …  scored five total goals, two of which came in 4-3 win vs. Niagara on Sept. 21 … her final goal of the season served as the game winner, coming in the 76th minute of a 2-1 win against Rhode Island (Oct. 28), sending her Bonnie’s to the Atlantic 10 Championship Tournament … led the team in total minutes of play with 1793 … scored her fourth goal in the very next game in a 3-2 win at Canisius (Sept. 23) … her three goals in two games earned her Atlantic 10 Player of the Week on Sept. 24 ... her strong defense helped propel the Bonnie’s to a winning record in Conference play … ended her five-year career as a Bonnie strong as she was a Mid-Atlantic Region Coaches: 2012 College All-America Nomination and earned a spot on the Atlantic 10 All-Conference team.

Started 18 of the 19 games she appeared in during her second-to-last season wearing the Brown and White … attempted nine shots, including a season-high three against Duquesne on Oct. 8 … contributed one assist on the season – a helper on a Nicole Rosso goal against Colgate on Sept. 23 which gave Bonaventure a 1-0 lead … a mainstay in the central backfield for head coach Manoj Khettry all four years, she helped shut out seven opponents on the season and allowed just 21 goals in 20 games.

Started in all but two games she played in … scored her only goal of the season in a 3-1 victory vs. Cornell (Sept. 10) … came forward from the back line to record 14 shots on goal.

As a Redshirt Freshman (2009) | Game-By-Game Stats
Played in 19 games, including 12 starts, during her first full season in Brown and White … saw first field action in the Bonnies’ 2-1 win versus visiting Syracuse (Aug. 22) … earned her first start of the year against Buffalo (Sept. 6), where she recorded the first shot of her career … headed in the first goal of her career in the 17th minute of a 1-0 win opposite host Bowling Green (Sept. 11) … made seven straight starts from Sept.6 to Oct. 9, before making five straight appearances in the first group from Oct. 25 thru Nov. 5 to close out the season.

Made an immediate impact until a season-ending knee injury cut her initial season short ... started three of the opening six games ... finished with seven points on three goals and one assist ... scored a point in half of her games played ... put 7-of-14 shots on goal ... made the first start of her career on defense in the season opener against Marshall (Aug. 23) ... move to forward the very next game paid huge dividends, as she tallied a pair of goals, including the game-winner, in the second half in win over Cleveland State (Aug. 29) ... followed with an assist on the team's lone goal at Quinnipiac (Aug. 31) ... earned Atlantic 10 Co-Rookie of the Week accolades after five-point weekend ... scored the team's lone goal against Oakland (Sept. 7) on the final day of the Puma/St. Bonaventure Tournament ... suffered injury during 3-0 win at Cornell (Sept. 12).

High School

Four-year starter at midfield for Groton-Dunstable Regional ... accumulated 92 points over her career on 27 goals and 38 assists ... helped guide the Crusaders to over 50 wins during her time ... named to the Central Massachusetts Division 1 All-League team and Lowell Sun All-Star team as a senior in 2007 ... played club for the Boston Bolts ... led the Bolts to their second consecutive Massachusetts State Cup championship in 2007, while being named the team's Most Valuable Player ... in 2006, she helped guide the Bolts to a USYS Region 1 title and a third place finish at the National Tournament.
