David Rosa, a native of Canóvanas, Puerto Rico, serves as a Ticket Office Customer Service Representative for St. Bonaventure University's Athletics department. A former NCAA Division III student-athlete, Rosa competed for four years on the men’s basketball team at Houghton University.
While at Houghton, Rosa earned a double major, completing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Sports, Recreation, and Wellness Management. He also served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for three years, including one term as President. In addition, he was selected as one of only 200 student-athletes nationwide to attend an NCAA leadership conference at the association’s national headquarters—an opportunity reserved for emerging leaders in collegiate athletics.
Rosa played a key role in helping transform Houghton’s basketball program and was widely recognized for his leadership both on and off the court. His experience as a team captain, student-athlete representative, and campus leader helped cultivate a deep passion for athletics, operations, and community engagement.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Rosa brings a commitment to service and a strong interpersonal skill set to his role in the ticket office. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Sport Administration at St. Bonaventure and is eager to build a career working in collegiate athletic departments, where he can continue making a positive impact behind the scenes.
