Donovan Moffat, '20, '21, is in his first year as Assistant Athletic Director for Academic Support & Student Development.
Prior to moving into his current role, he spent the previous year serving as Bonnies Athletic Fund Coordinator.
He was a five-year student-athlete with the Bonnies Baseball program during his college career.
A native of Pavilion, N.Y., the southpaw was a key member of the Bona pitching staff during his career and ranks highly in the program record books for a number of categories. He stands second in career appearances (81), third in saves (11), fifth in ERA (3.87) and tied for ninth in wins (13).
As a graduate student in 2021, he led the staff in innings (59) and strikeouts (40) while ranking sixth nationally in complete games with five. He has one of the best pitchers in the Atlantic 10 during his junior season of 2019, ranking third in the conference with a 2.58 ERA while holding opponents to a .224 batting average against in 21 appearances. As a freshman, he was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team while setting the program single-season record for appearances with 28.
He was also a standout in the classroom, earning a spot on the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team and was a member of the A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll throughout his career as a student-athlete. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in mass communications and received a Master's in Business Administration from St. Bonaventure.
He served as assistant coach for the Bonnies Baseball program in 2022 and then worked as an admissions counselor for St. Bonaventure from 2022-23 prior to taking his current position.
Moffat lives in Olean with his wife, Julia.
