Marion Dietz is in her first season with the St. Bonaventure Women's Basketball program, joining the staff for the 2026-27 campaign.
A rising star in the coaching ranks, Dietz most recently served as head coach/assistant athletic director/senior women’s administrator at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, N.Y.
In three seasons as head coach for the Mount Saint Mary program, she guided the Knights to a 52-30 overall record along with a sparkling 47-13 mark in conference play. In 2025, her team captured the Skyline Conference Championship and advanced to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
Before arriving at Mount Saint Mary, Dietz served as an assistant coach at William Smith College, where she contributed to all aspects of the program with an emphasis on recruiting, opponent scouting, and practice planning.
She also spent time on staff at Catholic University where she helped that squad to a 27-9 record across two seasons including a 20-win campaign in 2021-22 and a spot in the NCAA Tournament.
Dietz played collegiately at SUNY New Paltz where she was a four-year starter, recording 1,253 career points to stand second on the program’s all-time scoring list at the time of her graduation. Her Hawks teams captured three SUNYAC Championships with a trio of NCAA Tournament bids, including two runs to the national Sweet 16. She earned SUNYAC Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2019 and 2020 and was named SUNYAC Women’s Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year as a senior in 2020.
