After playing the final year of his career under head coach MarkSchmidt, 2008 graduate Tyler Relph will enter his first season asDirector of Player Personnel and Managers on Schmidt’s staff.
Relph's responsibilities include practice and game filmbreakdown, assisting with on-campus recruiting, supervising playerclassroom and workout schedules and overseeing the managerialstaff.
Relph had the best season of his collegiate career under Schmidtand his staff in 2007-08. The Rochester, N.Y., native averaged 11.9points, 3.9 assists and 2. 7 rebounds per game during his seniorcampaign. Relph led the nation in free throw percentage (.938) as asenior, connecting on all 48 of his attempts during Atlantic 10action. Relph closed out his career with three consecutive 20-pointgames, highlighted by a career-high 25 points at Saint Louis, whileaveraging 16.0 points over his final 14 contests.
For his career, Relph scored 754 points during his career in theBrown and White, which ranks 61st all-time in the Bona recordbooks. Relph made 53 starts over his three seasons as a Bonnie,connecting on 158 three-points to currently sit in seventh placeall-time.
A native of Victor, N.Y., Relph graduated from St. Bonaventurewith a degree in sociology.
