The GoBonnies.com Athletes of the Week presented by CPL for the week ending May 1, 2022 is softball sophomore Emily Phelan.

In two of the three games she pitched last week Phelan tossed 12 innings, struck out 10 batters while only giving up four earned runs
 
At Buffalo Tuesday afternoon Phelan helped the Bonnies to a 9-2 victory by working 5.0 innings and striking out four.
 
The Greece, N.Y. native had another solid outing against Fordham on Friday, only giving up two runs and striking out six in a complete game effort.
