The GoBonnies.com Female Athlete of the Week presented by CPL for the week ending Oct. 30 is women’s cross country freshman Claire Cuneo.

Cuneo was the top-finishing Bonnies runner, completing the 5K layout at the Atlantic 10 Championship in 18:59.9.

Her run marks the first time a Bonnies competitor has broken the 19-minute mark in the conference championship meet since Kerry Caher did so in 2014.

She finished 76th overall in a field of 136 runners. Cuneo's effort was just off her PR of 18:55 set two weeks ago in Buffalo and she paced the team for the first time this fall.
