The GoBonnies.com Men's Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 12 is men's track junior William McCarthy.

McCarthy established a new school record in the 3000-meter steeplechase on Saturday at the Bucknell Outdoor Classic.

In Saturday's event, he ran a time of 9:28.33 to break his own record of 9:31.61 which was established at last year's Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track Championships.
