The Gobonnies male athlete of the week of January 19 presented by CPL is men's basketball is Alejandro Vasquez.

Vasquez provided a spark for the Bonnies off the bench during their win over Duquesne this past Friday, scoring a season-high 11 points. He drained a pair of key 3-pointers to help the Bonnies keep momentum and pull away for a victory on ESPN2.

He had a career-best five free throws as well, going 5-for-6 from the line. He also had four points and an assist in a Wednesday victory at Fordham.
