The Gobonnies athlete of the week award for January 10 presented by CPL is women's basketball Asianae Johnson.

Johnson averaged 16.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game in two Atlantic 10 contests for the Bonnies.

In last Friday's matchup against Richmond, Johnson poured in 18 points to go along with six rebounds. She drew seven fouls driving to the lane and was 8-of-11 from the charity stripe.

In Sunday's overtime loss to Atlantic 10 preseason favorite VCU, Johnson chipped in 15 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the floor and was 3-for-3 from the free throw line. On the week, Johnson shot 44 percent from the floor and 78.6 percent from the free throw line.

Johnson is averaging a team-high 14.1 points per game this season to go along with 4.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists per contest. She currently ranks 10^th in scoring among all A-10 players. Johnson also earned Big 4 Player of the Week honors.
