The Gobonnies male athlete of the week presented by CPL ending the week of April 17 is Bonnie's baseball Matthew Williams.

Williams hit .310 during the Bonnies' shortened season, starting all seven games while driving in five runs and picking up a pair of doubles. He also had a .375 on-base percentage and perfect fielding percentage.

Over the past three seasons, Williams has played in 55 games for the Bonnies including last year when he started 29 of 38 games played with a home run and 15 RBIs.
