The GoBonnies.com Male Athlete of the Week presented by CPL for the week ending Oct. 10 is men's swimming senior Alec Thomas.

Thomas paced the men’s team to a victory over UMass and Colgate at the Colgate Invitational.

The senior won two individual events and two relay events in the Brown and White’s first event of the season.

Thomas picked up wins in the 100-freestyle with a time of 46.94 and then the 200-freestyle in 1:45.43.

He then teamed up with Maciej Danilewski, Jake Ruffolo and Knute Wargin to win the 400-medley relay, finishing with a time of 3:22.22.

Thomas’ final win of the weekend came in the 400-freestyle relay with Danilewski, Ruffolo and Kyle Gluck, turning in a time of 3:09.23.

The Bonnies swimming and diving teams are off until Oct. 30-31 when they compete in the Atlantic 10 Invitational at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
