The GoBonnies.com Male Athlete of the Week presented by CPL for the week ending Oct. 24 is men's soccer graduate student Trevor Wilson.

Wilson helped the men’s soccer team to a 1-1 week, including a crucial Atlantic 10 win on the road at Dayton last Saturday.

Wednesday against Duquesne, Wilson stopped a career-high 12 shots. It was the first time the Bonnies have had double-digit saves in a game since 2019 when Wilson and Kyle Cunningham combined for 10 saves at Fordham. Wilson’s 12 saves are the most by any single Bonnies goalkeeper since Luke Iacobellis stopped 12 shots against Marist in 2017.

Wilson followed that performance with a five-save effort in a 2-1 victory on the road at Dayton. Wilson and the Bona defense fended off multiple Dayton attacks late in the game to secure crucial road victory and three points in the A-10 standings.

The Bonnies finish the regular season Saturday, Oct. 30 against George Washington at the Marra Athletics Complex.
