The GoBonnies.com Male Athlete of the Week presented by CPL for the week ending Oct. 31 is men's diving freshman Zyad Morsy.

Morsy’s record-setting performance highlighted the weekend for the St. Bonaventure men's swimming and diving team at the Atlantic 10 Classic held this past Saturday and Sunday at SPIRE Institute.

Morsy broke the school record in the 1-meter dive with a score of 335.60. He shattered the previous record of 332.25 which had been held since 2012 by Mike Murphy.

The Cairo, Egypt native was victorious in both the 1-meter dive and 3-meter dive, winning the 3-meter dive with a score of 315.25.

The Bonnies are back in action Saturday, Nov. 6 at Cornell.
