The GoBonnies.com Male Athlete of the Week presented by CPL is men's basketball senior Osun Osunniyi.

Osunniyi recorded his 18^th career double-double as he posted 15 points and 15 rebounds, adding four blocks in Bona’s 80-76 overtime win at La Salle Tuesday night.

The senior center from New Jersey sank five of six field goal attempts during a game-changing rally as the Bonnies erased a 12-point deficit with just over 13 minutes to play to force the extra period and eventually prevail.

With his four swats on the night, he broke a tie for second place in the Bonnies career record books for blocks, moving ahead of all-time program great Andrew Nicholson, ’12, as he now has 248. Only Caswell Cyrus, ’00, has more career blocks with 289 between 1996-2000. Osunniyi’s 2.7 career blocks per game are the most of any player in program history.
