ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - The St. Bonaventure men's soccer team was shutout Friday by Xavier, 3-0 at McGraw-Jennings Field.

The Musketeers scored their first goal of the game in the 32nd minute when Logan Wallace's shot deflected off of the post and past St. Bonaventure sophomore goalie Sean Eyde (Tucson, Ariz./Salpointe Catholic) and into the net.

Four minutes later, Xavier would take an early 2-0 lead after a goal by Chris Wolever, who was assisted by Tiest Sondaal.

Steven Barten of Xavier scored the final goal of the game in the 76th minute.

Xavier outshot the Bonnies 14-6.

Eyde recorded three saves in the loss.

With the loss, the Bonnies fall to 6-8 overall and 1-6 in the Atlantic 10. Xavier improves to 8-7 overall and 3-4 in the A-10.

The Bonnies will next host Dayton on Sunday, Oct. 27. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
