CINCINATTI, OHIO - The St. Bonaventure men's soccer team was shutout at Xavier this evening 4-0.

Xavier's Charles Morgan opened the scoring in the third minute after dribbling past several St. Bonaventure defenders and beating Bonnies' junior goalkeeper Sean Eyde.

Xavier would tally its second goal in the 12th minute off the foot of Brandon Lalley.

The Bonnies and Musketeers would exchange opportunities, but Xavier would take a 2-0 lead into the half.

In the second stanza, Xavier's Morgan recorded his third goal of the evening and teammate Toni Skudrzik scored the final goal in the 78th minute.

Eyde made two saves in the loss while Musketeers' keeper Ty Helmle stopped six St. Bonaventure shots. The Bonnies were outshot 10-8.

St. Bonaventure is now 2-14-1 overall and 1-8 in the Atlantic 10 Conference. Xavier improved to 4-13-1 overall and 3-6 in the A-10.

The Bonnies travel to Dayton Sunday, for a 1 p.m. start.
