ST. BONAVENTURE - The St. Bonaventure men's soccer team lost to Duquesne, 2-1, in its final regular season game this afternoon at McGraw-Jennings Field.
Sophomore Dan Bowen netted the Bonnies' lone goal at 22:16 after dribbling passed two Duquesne defenders.
In the 48th minute, St. Bonaventure gave up its 1-0 lead when Duquesne's Damien Pottinger scored off assists from Derek Mackenzie and Noah Salsi.
Duquesne's Steve Mellor netted the game-winning goal passed St. Bonaventure goalkeeper Mike Krupka. Mackenzie and Salsi assisted Mellor's goal.
The Bonnies and Dukes each had seven shots on the day.
St. Bonaventure ended its regular season with an Atlantic 10 record of 1-10 and an overall record of 2-16-1.
