ST. BONAVENTURE - The St. Bonaventure women's soccer team fell to Rhode Island, 1-0, in the final game of the season this afternoon at McGraw Jennings Field.

Rhode Island's Melanie Kasparek scored in the 16th minute of play off passes from teammates Megan Kasparek and Debra Nelson.

The Bonnies out shot the Rams, 13-11. Junior forward Heather MacDougall led the Bonnies with six shots, four of which hit the post.

Sophomore goalkeeper Lisa Eberhart recorded five saves on the day and finishes the season with a record of 8-10-2.

St. Bonaventure honored senior Cheryl Benacci prior to the game for Senior Day.

The Bonnies final record stands at 8-10-2 and 1-8-2 in Atlantic 10 play. Rhode Island ends its season with a record of 10-8-2 and an Atlantic 10 record of 7-2-2.
