Catamounts down Bonnies 13-4

BRADENTON, Fla. - St. Bonaventure dropped its second game in a row, falling 13-4 to Vermont Saturday afternoon in Bradenton, Florida.

Vermont jumped out to a commanding lead, knocking out St. Bonaventure starter Mike McCormack after only three innings. McCormack gave up 13 runs, five earned, on 11 hits.

Bonnies' senior Nate Cameron pitched five innings in relief, allowing only two hits and no runs.

Unfortunately, St. Bonaventure would only plate four. Freshman Matt Marduesz went 2-5 with two RBIs and a solo homerun. Junior Craig King went 2-3 for the Bonnies.

With the loss, the Bonnies fell to 2-5 on the season, while Vermont improved to 2-2.

The Bonnies conclude their trip to Bradenton today versus Columbia.
