AT A GLANCE
The Bonnies (7-0) enter the game against Marist (4-2) on their
best start in program history. The seven-game streak is a Division
I propgram best. The Brown and White continues their trend of
holding opponents to under 40 percent shooting. St. Bonaventure is
0-3 against the Red Foxes, most recently falling to Marist last
season 48-45.
SERIES HISTORY
Marist (4-2) holds a 3-0 lead in the brief history of this series.
Last season, the Red Foxes pulled out a 48-45 victory against the
Bonnies at the McCann Center. Dana Mitchell tied the game at 45-45,
but Marist took the lead right back on a lay-in by Erica
Allenspach. After an intentional foul by St. Bonaventure, Julianne
Viani made the second of two free-throws to put Marist up three,
48-45, with eight seconds left in the game. St. Bonaventure's
last gasp effort was no good as Andrea Doneth missed a jumper and
Marist collected the rebound as time expired.

Bonnies In DECEMBER
St. Bonaventure is 36-31 under head coach Jim
Crowley in December. With six games in the first month of
the season, The Bonnies set a program record of six wins in
November and look to do the same in December. Below is a look at
how the current Bonnies have fared in the second month of the
season.
UNDER PRESSURE
St. Bonaventure's opponents are having a tough time scoring
on the A-10's most tenacious defense, as the undefeated
Bonnies continue to limit their competitors to under 45 percent
shooting (36.0) and holding opponents to an average 46.1 points per
contest-- both league bests.
There's no place like HOME
The Bonnies own a 13-game winning streak at home during the
regular season dating back to Dec. 30, 2008. Their last loss at
home was against BIG EAST foe Syracuse on Dec. 28, 2008 when the
Bonnies lost by 1 point, 69-68.
STARTING off STRONG
St. Bonaventure is 7-0 on the season for the first time in program
history. The streak is also a program best. In the Atlantic 10, St.
Bonaventure is one of two schools who are still unbeaten, #9/10
Xavier has a 5-0 record.
Double your Pleasure, Double your Fun
St. Bonaventure has had at least two players score in double
figures in each game. Dana Mitchell has scored at
least 15 points in five of the seven match ups, while
Jessica Jenkins has hit doubles in five games.
Other starters Megan Van Tatenhove has three
double figure games and Andrea Doneth and
Armelia Horton posting in one game.
HELPING OUT when she can
Senior Andrea Doneth is just 26 assists away from
breaking into the top 10 on the all-time assists list. She
currently has 237, leading the team with 16 so far this season.
Beth Gromlowicz currently holds the 10th spot with 263 from
1989-92.
STAR Sophs
Sophomore Jessica Jenkins moved into the top spot
in scoring average with 14.6 while Megan Van
Tatenhove is third on the team in averaging 13.6. The
classmates have each had three game-high scoring games and set
career-bests against Quinnipiac.
FRESH Meat
Freshmen Alaina Walker and Chelsea
Bowker have seen time in all six games putting up an
average of 3.6 and 3.0 points per game, respectively. Walker had a
game-high nine rebounds against Akron in the home opener, while
Bowker pulled down a game-high seven against Quinnipiac. Classmates
Cyndra Couch and Colleen Kiss
have seen time in three of the six contests.
PAINTING the town Brown
The Bonnies have a knack for in-the-paint scoring as 206 points
have come from the lane. Opponents have been held to 100 points
inside the paint as the defense shuts down inside shooting. Forty
eight percent of the Bonnies' points have come from down the
lane.
Seeing DOUBLE
Senior Dana Mitchell has 96 double figure scoring
games through her career to move into second on the all-time list.
She could surpass the top spot with two more games of
double-digits, beating out Hilary Waltman who has 98. The record
has stood for almost 10 years.
We'll take your CHARITY
St. Bonaventure is second in A-10 rankings in free-throw
percentage, going 78.3 percent from the line, just two tenths
behind UMass (78.5). Sophomore Jessica Jenkins
leads the A-10, remaining perfect at 16-for-16 from the charity
stripe. Freshman Chelsea Bowker is also perfect
from the line.
