ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – St. Bonaventure University women's basketball head coach Jim Crowley has announced the addition of Kay Donahue to the 2026-27 roster.

A 5-10 guard, Donahue hails from Belle Mead, N.J. and spent the last four seasons at Lafayette in the Patriot League. She appeared in 80 games for the Leopards, making 18 starts.

"Kay is someone who can score the ball in a lot of ways," Crowley said. "Her attitude and approach to the game fit our style very well. She is a competitive, physical and skilled guard that can play multiple positions."

Donahue redshirted the 2025-26 season following an injury near the end of the prior season.

In 21 games as a junior during the 2024-25 campaign, Donahue averaged 9.6 points and a team-best 4.7 rebounds while dishing out 1.9 assists across 25.7 minutes per game.

As a sophomore, Donahue chipped in 5.2 points and 2.1 rebounds, appearing in 30 games while making a pair of starts and averaging 16.4 minutes per game.

During her first collegiate season, Donahue played in 29 games, making four starts while averaging 14.8 minutes per game. She added 3.5 points and 2.0 rebounds per contest.

Prior to Lafayette, Donahue was a standout player at Montgomery High School where she averaged 15.3 points, 8.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. She was named to the All-Skyland Conference Raritan Division First Team as well as the All-Union County Second Team.
