AT A GLANCE
The Bonnies (8-0) enter the game against Buffalo (1-6) on the

for a season sweep against their Big 4 rivals after beating
Canisius and Niagara earlier this season. St. Bonaventure is coming
off a solid 61-43 win against nationally recognized Marist. The Red
Foxes had not lost by more than 10 points since November 2008 when
Oklahoma beat them 83-57.

in-state foes with the Bonnies holding a 10-7 all-time advantage
over the Bulls. St. Bonaventure won the last head-to-head matchup

Scouting the Bulls
Buffalo (1-6) is coming off a tight 59-56 loss to another Big 4
rival, Canisius on Saturday. Buffalo's only win is against
Niagara in its season opener when junior forward Kourtney Brown had
a career-high 33 points, pulled in a school-record 22 rebounds and
added a career-high six steals, as the Bulls overcame a nine-point
second-half deficit and won a season opener on the road for the
first time since the 2002-03 season. Brown leads the Bulls with
18.3 ppg and 11.6 rpg.
Bonnies In DECEMBER
St. Bonaventure is 37-31 under head coach Jim
Crowley in December. With six games in the first month of
the season, The Bonnies set a program record of six wins in
November and look to do the same in December. Below is a look at
how the current Bonnies have fared in the second month of the
season.
UNDER PRESSURE
St. Bonaventure is third in the nation in scoring defense as the
undefeated Bonnies continue to limit their competitors to under 45
percent shooting (35.5) and holding opponents to an average 45.8
points per contest-- both league bests.
There's no place like HOME
The Bonnies have won 17 out of their last 20 home games dating
back to last season. Their last loss at home was against BIG EAST
foe South Florida during the WNIT quarterfinals on March 29, 2008
when the Bonnies lost 80-66. They also have a 16-3 record against
non-conference opponents through the 2006-07 season.
National RECOGNITION
The Bonnies garnered a vote in the AP Top 25 Poll on Monday,
December 7 after beating Marist 61-43. It marks the second time in
the 37-year history and the second time in as many years that Bona
has been recognized.
STARTING off STRONG
St. Bonaventure is 8-0 on the season for the first time in program
history. The streak is also a program best. In the Atlantic 10, St.
Bonaventure is one of two schools who are still unbeaten, #8/10
Xavier has a 7-0 record. There are 16 remaining teams in Division I
without a loss.
No BENCH WARMERS here
St. Bonaventure's bench has outscored their counterparts in
half of the games this season leading 102-87. The bench scored a
season high 19 points against Bryant.
Outside the Arc
St. Bonaventure is shooting 43 percent from beyond the arc to rank
first in the A-10 and sixth in the nation. Sophomore Jessica
Jenkins leads the A-10 in three-point field goals made with 25.
