Scouting the Flyers
Dayton opened A-10 play at GW last Saturday with a tight 59-55 victory. The win was the first time the Flyers beat the Colonials as they were 0-24 all-time against them. squad is receiving votes in the AP and USA Today/ESPN Polls for the ninth consecutive week. Coming off the first postseason win in the program's modern history, Dayton, was selected to finish tied for third in the 2009-10 Atlantic 10 Women's Basketball Preseason Poll. Sophomore Justine Raterman leads the Flyers scoring 12.5 points per game. She also helps on the defense, rebounding 6.1 per game, for third best on the team.

This Day in BONA BASKETBALL
The Bonnies are 2-6 on January 16, dating back to the 1986-87 season - the last actual recorded dates. St. Bonaventure beat Siena 88-79 in 1996 on Jan. 16.

Series Note
The Flyers and Bonnies have split the last four games 2-2 each winning on their home courts.

LAST TIME against the FLYERS
Redshirt sophomore Armelia Horton was the big shot in last season's match up against the Flyers posting game-highs with 13 points and nine rebounds. Nine of the 10 Bonnies to see time in the game registered a bucket.

UNDER PRESSURE
The Bonnies scoring defense ranks 10th in the nation and first in the Atlantic 10 allowing 52.5 points per game. Only five opponents have scored more than 60 points against St. Bonaventure.

Super SATURDAY
St. Bonaventure is 3-0 when playing on Saturdays. The Bonnies beat Saint Louis in the A-10 opener on Saturday, January 9, 75-63.

Breaking the NORM
Virginia was the first team to shoot better than 45 percent against the Bonnies. The Cavaliers 26 made field goals and 50 percent shooting were game-highs for St. Bonaventure's opponents.

SIX Minutes left to Go
The team explodes in the second half, outscoring opponents 580-458. With six minutes left in the second half, the Bonnies have held a double-digit lead in all of their victories except Saint Louis. The biggest lead (31) with six minutes left was against IUPUI at the Christmas City Classic.

It's Raining Threes
The Brown and White have scored at least one three-pointer in 179 games dating back to 2004. The last time the Bonnies failed to convert a three-point basket in a game was on February 14, 2004 against Temple.

In the nation
In the Jan. 11 NCAA statistics, the Bonnies ranked in the top-10 in the nation in four categories 10th in scoring defense (52.2), seventh in field-goal percentage (47.2), third in free-throw percentage (79.4) and sixth in three-point field-goal percentage (41.1).

“Three” to be you and me
Sophomore Jessica Jenkins scored six three-pointers against Virginia to match the ninth spot on the all-time list with 84. She needs 17 more to move into eighth to match former teammate Erica Schiefen's spot with 101.

Minimal MINUTES
No player on the Brown and White is averaging more than 30 minutes a game. Seven of the 14 teams in the A-10 have at least one player averaging more than 30 minutes.

DOUBLE your pleasure, DOUBLE your fun
In each of the Bonnies' victories, the scoring margin has been in double figures. Quinnipiac was the closest win at 77-67 while St. Bonaventure beat Akron and IUPUI by 30 points each.

Now BOARDING
The Bonnies have out-rebounded their opponents in 12 of their 17 contests by an average of 3.7 per game.

Sixth Woman
Freshman Chelsea Bowker has been the Bonnies' go-to woman off the bench. Bowker has a knack for long range to assist in averaging 5.9 points per game, shooting 42 percent from the floor and 44 percent from beyond the arc.
