Not so JOYFUL JANUARY
St. Bonaventure is 35-43 under head coach Jim Crowley in January. Below is a look at how the current Bonnies have fared in the third month of the season.

UNDER PRESSURE
The Bonnies scoring defense ranks sixth in the nation and first in the Atlantic 10 allowing 50.0 points per game. Only four opponents scored more than 60 points against St. Bonaventure

Breaking the NORM
Virginia was the first team to shoot better than 45 percent against the Bonnies. The Cavaliers 26 made field goals and 50 percent shooting were game-highs for St. Bonaventure's opponents.

There's no place like HOME
The Bonnies have won 19 out of their last 22 home games dating back to last season. Their last loss at home was against BIG EAST foe South Florida during the WNIT quarterfinals on March 29, 2008 when the Bonnies lost 80-66.

SIX Minutes left to Go
The team explodes in the second half, outscoring opponents 410-289. With six minutes left in the second half, the Bonnies have held a double-digit lead in all of their victories. The biggest lead (31) with six minutes left was against IUPUI at the Christmas City Classic.

It's Raining Threes
The Brown and White have scored at least one three-pointer in 177 games dating back to 2004. The last time the Bonnies failed to convert a three-point basket in a game was on February 14, 2004 against Temple.

In the Nation
In the Jan. 7 NCAA statistics, the Bonnies ranked in the top-10 in the nation in three categories - ninth in scoring defense (51.5), third in free-throw percentage (80.0) and second in three-point field-goal percentage (42.9).

“Three” to be you and me
Sophomore Jessica Jenkins scored six three-pointers against Virginia to match the ninth spot on the all-time list with 81. She needs 20 more to move into eighth to take former teammate Erica Schiefen's spot with 101.

Minimal MINUTES
No player on the Brown and White is averaging more than 30 minutes a game. Seven of the 14 teams in the A-10 have at least one player averaging more than 30 minutes.

DOUBLE your please, DOUBLE your fun
In each of the Bonnies' non-conference victories, the scoring margin was in double figures. Quinnipiac was the closest win at 77-67 while St. Bonaventure beat Akron and IUPUI by 30 points each.

Sixth Women
Junior Cara Gustafson and freshmen Chelsea Bowker and Alaina Walker have been the Bonnies' go-to women off the bench. Bowker has a knack for long range to assist in averaging 5.9 points per game while Walker and Gustafson add 3.5 and 2.9 respectively.

Going LONG
The Bonnies have scored three or more three-pointers in 13 out of their 15 non-conference games. They scored a season-high nine at Quinnipiac and against Buffalo.

MOVING on Up (in the books)
Preseason All-Conference first team selection Dana Mitchell moved into the third spot on the all-time scoring list after scoring 19 points against BGSU. She now has 1,720 points. She is now 154 points away from second and still trails the top spot held by Hilary Waltman by 386 points.
