BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – St. Bonaventure (3-1) used a 20-0 run over an 8:57 span in the second half to pull away from host Binghamton (1-2), 69-44, Sunday afternoon at the Events Center.

Da'Quan Cook recorded 23 points and 13 rebounds – both career-highs – to lead the Bonnies to their third straight win. Andrew Nicholson tallied 16 points, Demitrius Conger added 10 and a game-high eight boards, and Ogo Adegboye made 3-of-4 3-pointers to finish with 13 points and a game-high six assists.

Binghamton saw a four-point first half lead slip away with a 6-1 Bonnies push, and went  0-for-9 from the field during the decisive run in the second half. Binghamton shot just 30.9 percent (17-of-55) for the game after enduring a 24.6 percent clip in last week's 66-38 loss to Bucknell.

Moussa Camara chipped in with 13 points while Chretien Lukasa added 12 for the Bearcats in the loss.

The Bonnies built up a lead as large as six with 11:44 left in the opening period, powered by nine points from Nicholson and eight from Cook. The Bearcats shot 9-of-30 from the field in the first frame, but embarked on a 12-2 run over the next 6:01 to take a four point lead with under six minutes to play.

St. Bonaventure completes its three-game road swing on Saturday at Cleveland State. Tip is scheduled for 6 p.m.
