  • The Bonnies look to extend their three-game conference road winning streak when they travel to Charlotte on Wednesday.
  • Megan Van Tatenhove won A-10 Player of the Week for her game-high scoring performances at UMass and vs. Saint Joseph's
  • Dana Mitchell, Van Tatenhove and Armelia Horton lead the team in scoring in conference play. Horton has scored almost half of her points against A-10 foes.
  • Van Tatenhove posted back to back team-high scoring at UMass and vs. St. Joe's.
  • St. Bonaventure has won all of its victories by 10 or more points and lost by 11 or less.
  • Coach Jim Crowley won his 125th game at St. Bonaventure against Fordham and his 165th of his career at Temple.
  • Senior Dana Mitchell needs just 18 points to move into second on the all-time scoring list to pass Sue Shay (1988-92) who has 1,874 points.
  • Senior Andrea Doneth entered the top 10 list in assists with 278. She leads the team with 69 and is 11 away from moving into ninth.
  • St. Bonaventure needs four more A-10 wins to match last season's record-setting nine conference wins and just six wins to match its win record.
  • St. Bonaventure's 12 non-conference victories matches the program best set by the 2007-08 squad.

Scouting the 49ers
Defending A-10 Tournament Champion Charlotte won its 10th straight home game in the 57-44 victory against Rhode Island on Saturday. Junior Shannon McCallum scored a team-high 19 points against the Rams for her 16th double-digit scoring game this season. McCallum leads the Niners averaging 12.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. The 49ers two conference losses have come away from Halton arena, losing at Duquesne 70-68 in double overtime and at Dayton 70-55.

This Day in BONA BASKETBALL
The Bonnies are 2-5 on February 10 - dating back to the 1986-87 season, the last season that has actual dates recorded. They beat Rhode Island on this date last season, 54-58.

Series Note
The win last season against Charlotte was the first since the 49ers joined the Atlantic 10 and it was the program's 20th making them the winningest squad in program history.

LAST SEASON against the Niners
Despite double-digit performances from four Charlotte players, the 49ers could not over come the solid performances from Dana Mitchell and Katelyn Murray. Mitchell hit a game-high 21 points and passed out five assists while Murray added 14 and dished out three assits. Charlotte took advantage of the Bonnies' 17 turnovers, converting 23 points. St. Bonaventure held a 35-28 advantage off the glass.

Wacky WEDNESDAYS
St. Bonaventure is currently 4-2 on Wednesday last beating Fordham, 60-36 at the Reilly Center for the biggest conference victory in more than 10 years.

From the LINE
St. Bonaventure made more free throws than its opponent attempted for the eighth time this season against UMass.

The ball is OURS
The Brown and White is first in the A-10 in turnovers per game, averaging 14.0. In the game at UMass, Andrea Doneth and Jessica Jenkins dished out a combined 13 assists on no turnovers helping the Bonnies tie a season-low for turnovers (8).

UNDER PRESSURE
The Bonnies scoring defense ranks 11th in the nation and first in the Atlantic 10 allowing 52.9 points per game. Sixteen of St. Bonaventure's opponents have been held to under 60 points.

It's Raining Threes
The Brown and White have scored at least one three-pointer in 186 games dating back to 2004. The last time the Bonnies failed to convert a three-point basket in a game was on February 14, 2004 against Temple.

In the Nation
In the Feb. 5 NCAA statistics, the Bonnies ranked in the top-10 in the nation in four categories - third in free-throw percentage (80.2), sixth in three-point field-goal percentage (38.6) and eighth in scoring defense (52.9) and 10th in turnovers per game (14.0)

A-10 ACTION
Redshirt sophomore Armelia Horton is averaging 9.1 points in conference play. After posting double figures in three non-conference games, she has posted double digit scoring games in four of the nine conference contests.

“Three” to be you and me
Sophomore Jessica Jenkins scored six three-pointers against Virginia to move into the ninth spot on the all-time list with 82. She now has 100 needing one more to match former teammate Erica Schiefen's spot with 101.

She'll TAKE that
Dana Mitchell (30), Armelia Horton (29) and Cara Gustafson (28) lead the team in steals. Horton has registered at least one in 17 of her 22 played games.

The “SOPH”-ter side of things
Sophomore Megan Van Tatenhove is second on the team in scoring (11.6) after posting two game-high performances at UMass and against Saint Joseph's. She has now led in scoring six games.

Minimal MINUTES
No player on the Brown and White is averaging more than 30 minutes a game. Nine of the 14 teams in the A-10 have at least one player averaging more than 30 minutes.
