ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. — For the second
straight weekend, cold and rainy conditions have pushed back the
start of a St. Bonaventure baseball Atlantic 10 series. The Bonnies
three-game weekend against visiting Saint Joseph's will now
begin on Saturday, April 17 as the two teams will attempt to play a
doubleheader at Fred Handler Park.
With rain and temperatures in the low 40s predicted for
Saturday, game one of the doubleheader will begin at noon. The
second game will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the
opener.
Game one of the doubleheader can be heard live on WHDL 1450 AM
or on www.GoBonnies.com through the service of Stretch
Internet. Fans can also listen to Sunday's game on www.GoBonnies.com or tune into WSBU
88.3 FM “The Buzz.”
Halfway through its 10 home games in April, the Bonnies have
taken seven of the last nine meetings from the Hawks and have been
on the positive side of each of the last three series. St.
Bonaventure swept all three games from Saint Joseph's last
year, but the Hawks enter the weekend in a four-way tie for third
place in the A-10 standings and sit just a game out of first
place.
